I am a former employee of Friendfinder (Now known as Penthouse, who purchased the company for $500 million in December 2007) who absolutely agrees that Adult Friend Finder (and all their other websites) are a con-game/scam. I quit after seeing, with my own eyes, the billing fraudulence (Over-billing, double biling and flat out theft of this company.) I have forwarded information to the Attorney General and also the FBI (As their are innumerable pedophiles on this site that Adult Friend Frind will NOT deactivate their accounts if they are PAYING members.) They post fake profiles and pictures. Please go to a REPUTABLE website such as Match.com or Yahoo or anything but Friendfinder. Big Church (Now owned by *** dealer Penthouse) is full of Nigerian/Russian scammers. (We had to review emails for contact info.) This company will never let you delete your profile and will bill you monthy, from now on..Trust a former employee, now working with the government against this company..It is not worth your money, time or even your life.

I signed up for a month and they keep charging me each month even tho i cancelled my account and never had auto-renew turned on.

This is a company that will not get rid of your credit card file! BE VERY CAREFUL as they are deceitful -

How accurate is the online status? For instance..if someone was on yesterday, were they really on yesterday? Or is this just another ploy to get you to sign up. The reason I ask is because I had a profile..and even though I wasn't online for a long period of time, I signed up using another ID...checked my other account.. it showed that I was online recently and I was not. What is up with that? I have a friend who used this too...and when she would hit the refresh button the status would change from online now, to online yesterday, to online a month ago.
